Consulting on the development of the 2024 GHG Inventory Report and the 2026 - 2030 GHG Mitigation Plan for the Ca Mau 1,2 Power Plant

Project Objectives

This project aims to develop the 2024 GHG Inventory Report and the 2026 - 2030 GHG Mitigation Plan for the Ca Mau 1,2 Power Plant. This project is consistent with the development strategy of "Born Energy - Nurtured the Future", PV Power in general and PV Power Ca Mau in particular determine the electricity production and business activities towards the future, green environment, digital technology, pioneering environmental protection and implementing the Government's commitments.

Greenhouse Gas Inventory

Decree No. 06/2022/ND-CP on “Regulations on greenhouse gas emission mitigation and ozone layer protection” issued by the Government on January 7, 2022 stipulates: “Greenhouse Gas Inventory (GHG) is the activity of collecting information and data on greenhouse gas emission sources, calculating greenhouse gas emissions, and greenhouse gas absorption within a specified scope and in a specific year according to the method and process issued by the competent authority”

Scope 1: Direct emissions

Direct emissions caused by sources that an organization or enterprise creates during its business or daily operations

Scope 2: Indirect emissions from energy production

Indirect emissions are created from the production of energy used by the organization. This includes emissions from the production of electricity, fuel, or other energy sources consumed by the organization.
