Tran Thi Lanh

Senior Advisor on Biodiversity Ecosystems

An intellectual activist with over 25 years of experience advocating for indigenous ethnic minority peoples in Southeast Asia.

  • Founder of Toward Ethnic Women (TEW) for Women’s Rights
  • Founder of the Center for Human Ecology Studies of Highlands (CHESH)
  • Founder of the Center for Indigenous Knowledge Research and Development (CIRD)
  • Founder of the Social Political Ecology Research Institute (SPERI)
  • Consultant on Development (CODE) for transparency and sustainability in  extractive industry policy
